From a very early age I can remember having a camera in my hand and shooting anything and everything. The first camera I used was a Kodak 110; back in the day when we relied on film. Born and raised in Southern California; I had a lot of interesting subjects and locations to take pictures of. I have always wanted to capture every moment; from family time growing up to the weddings and parties we attended. Some things never change; I have never lost the desire to capture it all.
Today, I continue to live in Southern California with my very supportive husband, Chris and our two young children. It is my children and determination, taught to me by example by my loving Mother that is the driving force for taking this leap of faith into full time photography. It continues to be a passion that drives me everyday.
My belief is children are the most endearing and animated subjects to photograph. They are pure and honest and capturing their personalities is my personal favorite. I enjoy photography in different environments from families on the beach to capturing a great play at a softball game. My major focus is candid moments. The most interesting and priceless shots are the ones where the subject isn’t really looking at the camera.
Photography is what I will leave as one of my marks. My children and their children will have many images to view and in some ways, they will know another dimension of me.
